Hi Hans, it sure was a stunning day. A really nice way to see the old year out.
We enjoyed your company over those few days, thanks for this reminder.
Normally, there is much more water flowing through the gorge, but we were lucky to have this much during such a long hot summer.
As an aside....Tekapo was enjoying temperatures in the low 20's two days ago....today hail and heavy snow.
Oh, about your pic, you have captured the typical NZ green (and I don't mean Marijuana) very well. A nice restful scene.

Ik zie daar bij die brug nog een hutje staan. Woont daar iemand in, of is het gewoon een schuurtje?

I missed this one in your gallery, great scene. It reminds me my Icelandic shot of 'Green Power', colours and landscape is quite similar. Great clarity and sharpness. Anyway, I often hear lot of parallel facts about the nature of New Zeland and Iceland. :)
