The remains of the Karangahake Gold Mine which is situated near Waihi on the Coromandel Peninsular.

The mine was established in 1875 and at its peak produced 60% of New Zealand's gold.
In the 1910-20 it became uneconomical and the mine was demolished.

Nice details in the concrete structures and love the rusty metal. Vivid greens in the foliage jumps out.

I don't know about you, but I found this place surprisingly hard to get good shots. Despite its beauty, the raw images (for me) all tended to have low saturation, washed out skies, and I really struggled to get angles and compositions that were sufficiently interesting.

I think your HDR treatment here has delivered what the camera alone can't - well seen and well presented!
