[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dedicated to all the German tourists who find it tough going on the
NZ autobahns.

I was photographing here on the Coromandel Peninsula when a German couple who were speechless with the scenery around here asked me if our autobahns were like this throughout of NZ. (I had to chuckle to myself, I don't know a road in NZ where you can get up to 160km per hour - unless your travelling at 3am in the morning).

So here is our version of the autobahn - you may have trouble finding it to be honest - but it is there somewhere ;-).

Beautiful scenery Jim, serene and peaceful.. this is the autobahn for sheep :)) and it is all good, they can not exist together, should be kept the way it is.. thanks

Hi Jim,
This animated sky is a good response at the animated relief of mountains!
I especially like the beautiful green/yellow and blue harmony. The superb light carves the undulations on the slopes as only a talented sculptor could do it.
You captured this great landscape beautifully! Annie

Jim, I think I would be speechless with your scenery too. Wow! stunning landscape.
Love the low-ish light, providing some great shadows on the hillsides. That green .. I don't know what's in the air down there, but I don't think our green hillsides are ever this vibrant!! Great sky too.
Beautiful shot!

Hi Jim,
great lighting and shadows on the hillside and the polarizer has worked well on the sky
cheers
Jack

I enjoyed your notes, Jim!

The photograph shows what we expect from N.Z. - wonderful scenery!
I love shots which emphasise the greens and the blues, so natural, so unspoilt!
The light is great, creating shadows which define the attitude of the terrain.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Your feeling for color and lightcircumstances is well developed, for this kind of pictures you need time, patience and good luck.
Like here the perfect weather and light together,it rarely happens and thats why it is unique, and why your production is low;]]
Bravo Jimmy!
