[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I went to Hastings today and was witness to the hottest day ever recorded in Hawkes Bay, 37 degrees Celsius. It was intense heat and I only took a few photos, this being one of the lamp posts on the main street

The car recorded 38 degrees Celsius and at one point hit 40 degrees Celsius. But TVNZ weather officially reported it at 37 degrees Celsius

Meeprang you about 5'ish, but you must have been still coming home.
Dad.

That sounds like a hot one indeed! Oven-like! I'm glad I wasn't there.

Good simple capture with crisp details and solid use of the sky as frame for that art deco lamppost.
