This photo was taken at dawn on a feezing cold day in winter with an old 35mm Agfa camera. I have had the slide in my photo collection for years.

Kia ora Richard.
What a pretty blue scene. And an old one too - taken 41 years ago. It's in good condition. I bet Wanaka has changed a lot since then - it would be good to do before and after photos.
If you are converting them to prints can you straighten up the water level as it is tilting to the left.
I passed through Wanaka in 1986 on a wet misty day.

Lovely shot Richard - it does look freezing cold though! The blueish colour tones here really create that sense of chill.

Probably my only criticism here would be that the lake doesn't appear to be 'level, the water seems to be sloping slightly down to the left!

what a beautiful place this is.. beautiful capture of this view.. yep i have to agree with Janice and Rew about the tilting part..

you can correct it by rotating and cropped to level it.. Janice thought me how last time..

Nice shot with the feel of winter being emphasized by the cool tones and the bare trees. I agree with previous posts regarding the tilting horizon, and I also feel there is a slight magenta cast (possibly due to the age of the original slide, which do colour shift over time). I see you have loaded this image under 'Hawkes Bay' - Lake Wanaka is in the very scenic Central Otago. :)

Lovely capture of this beautiful lake ... I can feel the cold!!

I like the almost monochromatic look of this image, very wintery.
