Worth a 2-pointer. Great moment well captured. Just one suggestion: the child's face is in the shadow! The dog's expression is well captured and visible. So it seems to me that the photo is handicapped from the partly lost expression of the child. I think the only way to really compensate would be a fill-in flash. Trying to change the light and contrast through image processing does not seem to achieve the trick. But perhaps someone else would be able to acieve it through a WS. Good photo! Cheers
