On the road to Napier..

Mahia Peninsula, a popular kiwi holiday destination, a distinctive high promontory that separates Hawkes Bay from Poverty Bay, linked to the mainland by a narrow sandy isthmus.
We stopped there when we travelled from Gisborne to Napier. An amzing journey, and a wonderful stop. Highly recommended, very nature!

Oh yes, I love this part of the country! I did a road trip on the motorbike from Auckland to Napier via Mahia last year, and it was just spectacular.
This is a beautiful capture, perfectly metered, great saturation and detail, a perfectly level horizon with textbook composition.
Great work!

I never made it to Hawkes Bay but in my imagination it looked exactelly like this. TFS Thomas
