A pair of silvereyes during one of their more intermit moments. The look of bliss on the face of the bird being preened can be seen. These little birds can put on some of the most interesting poses!

Hello Richard,

beautiful composition on these two birds very intimate.
Good work.

Best regards
Laurent

Hi Richard this is a stunning photo and cute pose of the birds, a little over sharp maybe or compressed a little too much, slightly grainy, but still a lovely image, well photographed :)

Hi Richard, this is a touching moment.
But I feel you have over-sharpened the image. There are too many white dots and stripes on the feathers, and there is a bit of noise / grain in the BG.
If you have still kept the original you could re-do it and then tomorrow you could re-post it.
It is a lovely scene

Hello Richard,

A very nicely composed shot.
I have to echo everything Janice has to say about oversharpening and noise. A repost would be a great option.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

How gorgeous! You have captured these birds in a great pose and your composition is wonderful. Watch the sharpening though, as this image does appear to be oversharpened. Your exposure looks to be spot on. TFS

Hi Richard

Superb photograph. THis is one of the best of this bird I have seen. Well captured!

It does look a touch over sharpened, I guess maybe a slight softening might benefit this compo and/or less compression?

A great photo, congratulations, TFS,

Martyn
