~ Summer Art ~

Today I drove across to Hastings near Hawkes Bay, eastern North Island. The heat was astounding in Hastings today, reaching 37 degrees, though further east near Cape Kidnappers it reached 38 degrees according to my car thermometer. Phew!

This photo is a close up of a piece of street art in Hastings. Impressive and intricate decoration for the high street. The dappled shade gave a welcome respite from the intense heat from the summer sun. TFV.
