Today I drove across the Hawkes Bay district and came across this bridge in Waipukurau township. In the distance you can see the mountain range is covered with the first snows of Winter here in New Zealand.

Hi Martyn, my neighbour today!
Wow, splendid scene over the river and the bridge, the snowy peaks are really great in the background. This is a composition that I surely love! Moody winter scene, TFS!

Cool shot, quite a layered effect from the bridge, mountains, and distant hills. Great hues from the winter snow. Looks like a very fresh and clean place to be, an undisturbed part of NZ. Well taken, and thanks for sharing.

the winter are coming to you and that see you al on the mountains, the river is now quiet under the bridge the summer took al the water to the mountains but after the winter then kom the water again.....

Very striking view - nicely composed with inclusion of the bridge and braided river in the foreground, mountains int he distance - a very good depth of field considering the aperture, too.

A very relaxing vista, initially I thought the bridge smak in the middle foreground would be distracting but it isn't. Winter is certainly here.

This is a wonderful scene, soft colors and a glorious
Ambiance, the snowy mountains in the BG with the
Light and clouds covering it look so charming, nature
Colors and the orange trees and the river, perfect nature
Shot with amazing details and superb POV…
