[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The streets and arcades of the small city of Hastings, on the east coast of North Island, has many artistic decorations adorning its pathments and arcades.

I saw this hanging sphere (see workshop photo) near a fountain and liked the shadow it cast onto the pathment below - creating an abstract attraction.

Hi Martyn,
Almost looks like it was burned or spray painted onto the path. Good spotting, I like the effect from the shadow too. The art sphere itself in your workshop also looks impressive, wouldn't mind one of them in the backyard, lol. Nice idea with the pano-style crop, the cobble stones look well exposed. Great DOF too.
