[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another one of my pictures from the Bull ride held in Bulls New Zealand.

I was lucky enough to be so close that I could put my camera lens through the bars of the ring and get very close. After releasing the shutter I had to step back from this one as the Bull was very close, and I didn't want to mess with him.

I used photoshop to crop slightly and resize for TL.

Hi Sue,

Great shot! It has good composition and right timing on the shutters for the action. A job well done. Thanks.

Konie

Fantastic action shot!!! Looks like the bull is coming strait at you through the picture. You almost can't help to feel the urge to move! Great job!
cheers,
Bob

Hello Sue!

I am not a fan of the rodeos ! But this is a great shot considering :
1 ) The lousy weather (^_^)
2 ) Your POV . ( Perhaps if you could have been a little closer .... (*_^)and took a little more time before shooting (^_^)
3) I love the positive attitude and determination of the cowboy!

Well done!
Robert

Hi Sue,
Great action capture. Love the POV, very close and very low.

Hi Sue, were you in the barrel to get this shot...... at a focal length of 7.1mm..lol (I did read your note!)

Superb action photography and I must say that is one mean salivating piece of steak charging towards you and about to drool all over your camera lens. Well done.

Regards
Wayne

there are some great dynamics in this photo. the bull, the rider and ring attendant. you were quite lucky with this angle, it's turned out really well. good job!

Such a great shot, not so easy to get, especially with all the dust flying around! Where was this taken?

Cheers

Steve

Hi Sue,
What a stunning action photo. How brave of you to get that close to the action. It really gives the feeling that you are in the ring as well. Great details and a pretty good job on the exposure.

Good action shot, it looks like you were close enough to feel the bulls hot breath. I like how you choose to keep the crowd int he shot also. It gives a feeling of excitement. Nice composition. TFS
