[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's a few of our millions of sheep that we have in NZ. These ones just graze the road side near our house. I didn't capture the light like I wanted but I am still experimenting and learning and having fun trying!

Just proves the point, lawn mowers are all noisey and smelly, 4 wheels or 4 feet it doesnt matter which. Jokeing, rather have these for mowing the lawn any day, then instead of sending the mower for a service at the end of the summer you can cook it. (or not)

Great photo, and I like the light here and the white little dots (flowers and the white spots dancing in the trees)...

I am also experimenting and having fun, but my results are not as good as yours, I urgently need lessons !

Hi Sue, wonderful shot. I would have loved to have seen this in sepia which with the lack of hue, almost is. Especially to highlight the 'oldness' of the craft of shepherding. TFS.

Keep on experimenting! I like this shot though, especially the composition and placement of the sheep, the eye naturally follows the diagonal from right to left and I think it works well. The lighting is unusual but really eyecatching, the lit 'edges' on the fleece is fantastic.
Thanks for sharing

Hello Sue,
The backlight works beautifully to enhance each and every single one of them!
I like the movement in the composition, good diagonal!

Hi Sue

Now here is a typical New Zealand shot! I never get sick of seeing scenes like this. It reminds me that we live in a beautiful piece of the World. TFS.

Hi Sue,

Lovely photo and very "New Zealandy" with all those sheep! I love the light across the backs and heads of all of them. The only disappointing feature of the photo for me is the rather grey sky but otherwise it's beautiful!

Well done and best regards from England,

Rich

Hi Sue, this picture sure takes a prize!
As I said to Paul, I love sheep and this is one of the loveliest I've seen.
Take care, Janos
