Little Robin at Bushy Park
It was quite dark in the bush, so was pleased with the result for hand held with zoom and flash, a little grainy but better results than I thought, especially as it was not with an SLR |

You did well capturing this little fellow. Where was he? At a conservation place?
I've only seen these beauties on Tiritiri Island.

This is a beautifully sharp shot of the robin, capturing excellent colour & textural details of its plummage, and getting that all important eye reflection.
Your composition is great.
The grainy effect is relatively easy to remove.
I have done a w/s for you to demonstrate that. I hope you find it useful.

Nice sharp details in the plumage and excellent contact with the eye - and a catchlight to bring it to life as well. Noise could be removed using most software packages, so not a big deal.
