Another photo of the obsolete suspension bridge located in the Manawatu region.

This bridge is approached on foot through a field along Highway Route A56, between Palmerston North and Levin. The bridge has no road traversing the river, the vertical supporting wires are literally suspended in air and free to move in the wind. A wierd spectacle but nonetheless fascinating and photogenic.

A slightly overgrown bridge - not many cars must pass this way!!
Good shot Martyn, well composed, and I like it in B&W too.

Strange to see a suspension bridge overgrown like this! Great symmetrical shot .. and a great choice to post in B&W, as it looks like the sky was grey.
