Hi Steven
Superb cloud formations, and the shades of greens, shadows and midtones compliment the image. FG looks a tad dark but that's monitors for you. What's your thoughts on the Tamron your using? Any good?
Regards
Jim

Hi Steven - clouds look great, nice job there. Technically though the FG is way too dark. I see that with the kit you use you could easily fit a filter system on. An ND4 grad filter would be just about right for this to bring the light down in the sky relative to the FG and equal up the exposure. Some kits are actually quite cheap and a good investment - saying that I've lost my ND grads.. Bummer!

Hope this helps.

Cheers
David

Hi Steven,
Nice use of the CPL to define the clouds and deepen the sky, but I fail to see how the effect is similar to HDR - Mainly due to the lack of exposure in the FG. Makes me wonder what an HDR of this scene would actually look like...I'm sure it'd be quite powerful giving the range of tones and textures on the ground. As David said, an ND4 grad filter would come in really handy here. Nice view however...

Regards,
Scott.
