[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I like photographing palms and composed this one of several palm fronds naturally interlocked from adjacent trees.

Converting the photo to B&W I intended to accentuate the fine detail of their structure while also intensifying the sharpness of the alternating shadows...and so creating an 'abstract natural weave'.

Thanks for viewing my photo.

Hi Martyn,
Very abstract indeed. I thought it was weaved flax at first. The B&W conversion really suits it and does it justice, as does the presentation. Wonderful idea, certainly thinking outside the box.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi My Neighbour
Wonderful abstract
Amazing effects
Thanks

Nice decision to convert this one into b&w. The cris-crossing patterns, the convergences, parallels and intersections all make a fascinating abstract, and the black and white treatment remove any distraction of colour and hue.
Great job
