~ Anatomy of a Palm Tree ~
For this composition I decided to bring together a selection of palm tree photos thus creating a theme for the photo. The photos were taken on different occasions but together create a botanic palm tree anatomy, i.e. the trunk, frond stems, and trusses of delicate flowers.
For the background I chose a mature palm frond (leaf) to create an additional abstract effect for my collage and converted it to B&W for optimal contrast.
Thanks for viewing. |

Hello,
A palm is a nice motive and you have shown the palm very nicely, I like the collage

Great thinking Martyn. Palms are one of my favourite trees, I like what you've done here. Nice set-up of the images, and the frond behind makes for a fantastic BG, the B&W effect on that section keeps the focus on the 3 main images (which are suitably framed by the way).
TFS,
Scott.
Hi Martyn
This is a nice idea.
I like the way you arrange these small images in front of B/W texture
