[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the flower head of Clivia caulescens. It looks very different from the usual larger flowered varieties.

Clivias will grow in most conditions and will tolerate periods of draught. I took this photo under the shade of a large tree hence the slow exposure set by my camera.

Hi Martyn,
Great PP work here, the flowers are standing out very well in this perfect frame. Hence a superb presentation of these cheerful flowers!

Hi Martyn, what a beautiful flower - and you show it off so well.
I love the framing and I never realised this was a Clivia.

My husband just dug out and re-planted some of our larger ones today. But he's moved them into a sunny spot and I don't think they will be happy there... I think they prefer a shady area... I hope I'm wrong!!

It's a very pretty picture, thank you
Janice

Bonjour Martyn.
Belle mise en page pour ce beau bouquet de fleurs présent sur un beau fond noir.
Les couleurs des fleurs sont parfaites et la netteté permet une bonne observation des détails.
Bonne journée.

Hi Martyn,
Very famailar sight, we have these in the back garden, although ours are more orange. Brilliant presentation, you always manage to come up with something witty and creative. I love the way they 'burst' through the frame, the colours and clarity are very striking also. Nice work.

TFS,
Scott.

Classical work of art. Good saturated and burning colours. Excellent framing and pp work.

Hi Martyn,
These beautiful flowers seem in hurry to get out of their frame! :) This is ok, they are too pretty to be cooped up!
Sharp colors and details and very effective 3D presentation!
My compliments! Annie
