[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today I visited Heritage Park in Kimbolton, located in the Manawatu near the Ruahine Ranges. These gardens were established in 1967 and covers an impressive 11 acres. The gardens are well known in New Zealand for the vast colection of rhododendrons from around the world. It is situated 1600 ft above sea level and enjoys a temperate climate idea for rhododendron cultivation. Well worth a visit during Spring-Summer time for garden colour and scents.

Today there was plenty of sunshine at Kimbolton though a bit cool at 5 degrees. Most of the deciduous leaves had fallen, Winter is upon us in the southern hemisphere. I noticed these liquidamber leaves floating in one of the ponds in a sheltered area, creating a kaleidoscope of colours.

Très bien vu cette composition pour ce tableau automnal. J'aime beaucoup la composition qui reste sobre, mais qui sait faire ressortir des couleurs éclatantes.
