I noticed these horseshoes during a farm visit near Levin. I believe the large shoes belonged to a large shire horse wheas the small shoes belonged to a miniature horse. They certainly contrast in size when viewed togethr on this fence.

Thanks for viewing.

Hi Martyn,
Very sharp image, the lighting seems to be in all the right places too. The bigger horseshoes look ginormous! The shaded objects in the BG look great, with a nice presentation to finish if off. Great work.

TFS,
Scott.

Nice one Martyn. Fantastic light, shadows and warm colors.
I'm glad to see them hung properly. Sometimes they're hung upside down, and then of course ... the luck runs out!!
Have a great day
Trudy

Hello Martyn ,
Interesting shot,
When they are attached to the horse's feet they really hurt them...
The light is good,
TFS,
Kind regards,
Vaibhav....

Reminds me of the blacksmith shop I took my horse to when I was a kid, great photo, glad to see they actually used horseshoe nails. TFS

Hi Martyn,
I didn't know New Zealand horses have different size horseshoes for front and rear :-)
Well observed, the light and contrast are fine, would have only cropped the left lower bright area to create a better balance between shadows. Anyway, still a fine image.
Hans
