The House That Was, Is No More
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This old 100 + year old house a few kilometers out of Palmerston North on The Rangatikei Line is no longer standing, it saw it's last summer at the beginning of this year, I'm glad I've got some OK shots of it as it will be missed by thousands of motorists and tourists that past by over many years |

Hi Steven, great photo of this old place, the chimney looks like it will tumble at any moment. The moss and lichen is great on the weather boards, nice vivid colours, just shows you can produce something great with out having to resort to HDR, well done.

Hello Steven
Interesting capture, nice sharpness and clearity.
U can clone out the wires and a little part of the pole.
May be u consider some other POV for this one (just an opinion)

Hello Steven, that is one of the uses of photography, recording views for posterity.
What a pity that the house is no longer standing.
Derelict buildings offer the photographer so much,I like all the different textures here.
A good sharp shot.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Steven,
an interesting old building and very well captured. Its a shame that its gone but that chimney looks a bit dodgy, good saturation of colours
cheers

Man! I hadn't seen this one. Wicked shot - awesome opportunity, and you were obviously one of the last to capture it.
Nice job with the cinematic framing.
Maybe a purist would say clone out the power line across the sky just above the house - keep the shot 'clean' - but really it's all part of it. Great colours and that sky is perfect too.
