Just 14kms west of Wanganui along Rapanui Road is Kai Iwi Beach. Patrolled during the summer it is a safe beach for the whole family offering swimming, fishing and beachcoming, or just lazing in the sun. A motor camp, children's playground and wood-burning barbeques are available making it a great day for family picnics or seaside camping holidays (best access at mid to low tide).

Hi Steven,
A wonderful sea view very well captured. Fine natural colours of sky and sea. Those reflections are a real bonus, creating a very attractive view! Excellent capture Steven.

Visited this beach many times when I lived in Wanganui. It's a great view.
The mirrored surface of deep blue lagoon in the foreground just faintly shows the wispy clouds.
Nice work.

Nice POV Steven, the colours look great too. Excellent clarity, complimented by a very straight horizon. Good job.

TFS,
Scott.

Salut Steven.
Splendides couleur pour présenter cette belle plage.
Un paysage magnifique qui donne envie de voir par soi-même.
Félicitation pour cette belle prise de vue.

Nice serene view Steven, well thought out composition. I tend to find the image a little dark overall - I would hazard a guess that the exposure is for the bright rocks of the cliff at left.. I find that at wide angles I need to set the exposure compensation up as high as +1EV, more if shooting on snow or sand.. But for some reason ultra wide seems to need a boost of light.

Cheers
DAvid

A fine view indeed - beautifully captured colours. The exposure looks absolutely spot-on to me, this is just how I'd want to capture it if I was there, too.
