[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Foxton Beach is a popular holiday area. The Manawatu River Mouth, estuary and ocean support sea and river fishing, whitebaiting, surfing, sailing and swimming. You will also see jet skis, power boats and kayaks. The Foxton Beach residential area has seen recent growth and development with new housing and substantial upgrading of earlier homes. The Manawatu river estuary is a world reknown conservation area and is a popular spot for those watching the migratory bird species who inhabit the flats.

Hi Steven
what a grate place
the curves and the foot marks are amazing on the sand
brilliant sky and light
grate POV!

Have a sunny day!
Oana

Wonderful textures and composition. The expansive pano format is a good choice. The footprints are a nice touch.
Cheers

Joris

Nice shot, very simple and sharp. Maybe I'd crop a little more of the sky out to get an even more panoramic ratio and a wider feel to the scene, but this is a nice view.
Good effort shooting into the light here.

David

Hello Steven! Amazing minimalistic shot. Good long perspective. Nice natural light and colours. Good work. Well done!

hi steven
great beach shot, maybe made the sand a bit warmer.
regards
jimmy

Interesting the foot prints to the left and the tyre tracks on the right, contrasting transport. Nice simple composition which displays the wild west coast. Great work.

Hi Steven,
Nice shot, I have never been to Foxton Beach but have heard many great things about it. Looks very peaceful, the almost untouched sand and remnants of driftwood look nice, the deep blue coloured water looks quite inviting too. Well captured.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Steven,
I like this bright crisp impression of the beach. No OE here, all together well captured and presented. A fine peaceful place in NZ!
