I think do have this same variety of yellow rose, but I could not remember the variety name. The rose looks fabulous against the dark b/g. It is smooth and sharp. Best regards.

A delicate yellow flower and the wonderful light make
this a pleasure to my eyes!
The yellow petals are very well exposed with great details,
and I notice how the shadows play to enhance the subject...

Very nice Martyn, looks like a photo you'd see in the home/garden magazines. The exposure looks terrific here, as do the colours. Your well known style of presentation has worked wonders, the whole image seems very sharp and clear. Great job.

Wow Martyn, this rose couldn't be much sharper ... almost as though it could feel the texture of the petals if I reached in .. and smell it too! Perfectly sharp. Nice "out of frame" treatment as well.
