Nice photo Martyn, interesting looking flower. I like the way you've presented it to make it 'spill' out of the frame. To be picky, the pink colour of the frame doesn't really suit in my opinion, I do like the rest of the image however - particularly the clarity and focus.

Hi Martyn,

A macro shot of the orchid flowers 'in bloom'! The framing is very impressive with great sharpness of the orchid flowers. The textures on the petals are very well shown and the colors being very natural, make your contribution a superb composition.

oooh, very nice Martyn. Love the PP work you've done here ... the out-of-frame thing, which you've mastered, the desaturated background is an interesting idea too. The little pink border .. I'm not too keen on that .. maybe a darker green might have been better ... don't know!
Still, I like this shot.
