Ahipara, Shipwreck Bay. The southern end of 90 mile beach. Great swell, no wind in the bay, nice day, lots of surfers out enjoying the waves.

Hey Karey! So you're on holiday up north? Well captured shot of the surfies off out into the waves. The tones are great, so silvery with the sun shining on the waters. And the silhouetttes stand out so well. Good job,
Janice
I have done a WS for you, just to place the men not so much in the centre.

I like your monochrome effect in this photo Karey. Your silhouetted surfers add interest to the mood.
Well done,
Patricia/M

Hi Karey,
Nice composition and I like the BW effect.
Fantastic silhouette shot with the repetion of the surfers leading to the sea.
Well done,
Salvu.

Good work, Karey. NZ winters just don't photograph as winters, do they? Great sense of 'being there' in the light and composition of this shot ... and a moment that perfectly captures the surfers' commitment to getting out there!
Well done

Hey Doris,
a topic close to my heart! Like the way that you have each head intersecting the horizon so they all look distinct. Would also look moodyin b and w. Am looking at your pics on rons laptop.
