Hi folks, We were away for a few days, taking our motorhome for a trip north, and this is where I spent New Years Eve, and saw in the New Year on the beach front on the right of the photo.... Over looking the Hokianga Harbour

Some info for you:

The Hokianga harbour is located in the far north of the North Island of new Zealand. The Hokianga harbour is also known to Maori as Te Kohanga o Te Tai Tokerau (the nest of the Northern People). The estuary extends in land for 70 kilometres from the Tasman sea. One of the most beautiful and relatively unspoilt parts of New Zealand. It has a low population, which means deserted beaches with room to move. The climate is mild at all times of the year, making gardens grown well in this area. The estuary is a tidal river system lined with mangroves, small harbourside towns and family farms. Hokianga is considered to be one of the oldest settlements for the Maori and is still a heartland for the Nga Puhi people.

Wooo Dawn... my gosh...

Look at that sky of yours... soooooo beautiful. I like the colours, composition and sharpness... what a view you have in your camp ground.... I saw on the TV news about the camp ground in South Island, some of them get evacuate away from the camp ground due to the flood... Lucky you, my dear, with this view and this sunny day... :D

My sister in law and husband going half Februari to NZ, visiting the son, NZ wife and grandchildren, who where a vew months ago emigrated to the southend of North island. They also like to go for camping, so I will tel them about this place
We, going after 3 weeks to Spain for a month.

Looks like a wonderful place to spend New Years Eve or, for that matter, any evening. The sky in the upper right corner looks maybe just a slight bit over saturated but it doesn't take away much from the beauty of your composition.
