Maori know the very top of the North Island of New Zealand as Te Hiku o te Ika a Maui - the tail of the fish of Maui. Tradition says the North Island was a giant fish pulled out of the sea by Maui from his canoe. Wellington (bottom of the North Island) forms the head of the fish, and the tip of the fish's tail is Cape Reinga.

The coloured water shows up so well, I was last here on a very dull and wet day, so it looks really good here on a sunny day. Good composition and sharp details. Well done Martin,
