This one is for the hunt... I am not sure how I do in this one... well.. lets put it this way, I dont' have a proper monitor, still using the loan LCD monitor... for me it look o.k.. but for some of my friend's monitor, they think it look either too dark, and some think it look too light... so I really not sure now...

Took this shot during our trip up North just last weekend... passing by this farm and saw this really old and crusty sad looking house, so told my husband to stop the car for me to take a shot...:D

Original shot is not like this at all, so I have been trying to makeit look a bit spooky and showing up details, but didnt get the result that I want for spooky...anyway... do let me know what you think of it...

------------------------
- Cropped
- Apply Clarify x 5
- Convert to b/w
- Adjust brightness and contrast
- Apply gamma
- Apply USM
- Add border and resize

I think that's what I did... too much playing around till I didn't really 100% remember the steps... but do let me know what you think about it, love to hear the feedback, just be honest... :D if you know another way to make it look spooky with Paintshop 9 pro, please please... let me know... thanks again for your visit... have a nice day.

Hi Sweety!
Great to see you back - I hope you're here to stay, this time?
Some interesting PP in this shot, very different from your usual work, but certainly some good textures captured.
Thanks for the informative note

An old house is beautifully presented in this high contrast composition. Monochrome picturization is adding perspective to the image. Excellent take Sweety, well done.

Thanks for sharing this image.
