[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This well hidden spot offered us a welcome break in our last travel through Northland. I did swimm there, in gorgeous cristal clear water, surrounded by thick native bush.

Can you keep a secret? It's in the Maungataniwha Range, on the road from Kaitaia to Kawakawa...

And for those interested in New Zeland, a place like that one is perfectly safe, as this country has no dangerous wildlife. The only risk for any traveller to Aotearoa is instant addiction!

Thanks for dropping by...

Hello Philippe - I haven't been there before. But I know the Kawakawa area, as my sister lived 40 mins south of there on a farm at Maromaku / Towai.
Beautiful scene, I love those ferns, and the stream looks so refreshing.
Well done
Janice
