I really do like the smoky, magical effect on the water resulting from that 30 second exposure, Jack. That's a great lesson to anyone who wants to produce similar results - good shot.

Hi Jack,

Beautiful colors. The lovely pinks and blues are very peaceful. The warm glow from the structures evoke a warm feeling inside the homes. The effect of the water is really nice. Gives the water a mystical look and feel.

Happy New Year! Lisa

Hi Jack,
A special shot ofthe sea at the bay of Islands, the long shutter speed creates a special milky looking sea and together with the purple sky quite a dramatic view. Well captured and presented!

Nice job with the long exposure! This works beautifully, especially with the township's lights across the water.

Well done

Rew

a great outcome from a right combo of an aperture and a shutter speed here, Jack. i like the efect on the smoothened water. nice colour on the sky and a good application of rule-of-thirds here with more prominence given to the water. well done!
