Definitely not the most tasteful of mail boxes, but one must admire the skill of the carver.
On the road from Mangawhai to Wellsford is this imposing mail box, it stands about two metres tall.
It was Marilyn, my wife who spotted it, now that has me worried....

Hi Peter,
It's so great to see so many NZ entries for this theme! Very interesting design for a mail box, looks like alot of time and effort has been put into the carving. Wouldn't be surprised if they had it concreted into the ground. Congratulate your wife for spotting it :), fitting photo for the theme.

Good addition to the theme Pete, there are some interesting mail boxes around, that could be a good subject for a theme. Well done.
