This is a nice classic mountain shot. Lots of clarity and sharpness here. Maybe a bit too much sky to my liking, but overall, a good job!

wowww...very nice place....
The little road is very important in the picture...for proportions and geography.
Very well
Welcome on TL
Claude

Beautiful mountain shot Dawn. Your composition is excellent. Think if it was mine I would have cropped out a little of the sky. But still a great shot, welcome to TL.

green acres, blue sky.... beautiful shot, well done :)

Kia ora Dawn, welcome to TLens. We're just about neighbours, as I live on the North Shore. This is a very good shot of Taranaki/Egmont as it isn't always so clear. Good composition, especially with the road carrying on over the hill. Well done and thank you for sharing.

Your picture is very sharp. We can see the details on the snow. Wow!

Hello again,

Hello Dawn.

Excellent picture, nice composition and colors.

Regards.
Jose Luis.

Stunning shot of the Naki! Good composition. I like the clouds, I always think a few clouds in a photo add the impression of movement. In this case it is not difficult to imagine them "casually" drifting by. An additional pleasing aspect of your photo. I also acknowledge and commend you on your use of the white fences in the foreground. Not only do these aid in providing depth and perspective to the composition and some foreground interest, importantly they serve in aethestically complementing the brillience of the snow capped volcano. And lastly, I like the undulating lane with its cropped verges "leading" the viewer towards this fine icon of Taranaki. My only critical comment... I think your photo would have benefitted by meeting the 1/3 - 2/3 rule, ie. perhaps just a little less sky but just a minor adjustment to achieve the the 1:2 ratio. But nonetheless a fine composition Dawn. Thank you for sharing it on TL. :-)
