Amazing colors! Great landscape :)

Hello, Erwin -
Very unusual landscape with fascinating colors. The tilt of the frame gives a feeling of disorientation. Great exposure and sharp details. I might have cloned out the transmission tower on the far right, but it is a great image regardless.

Nice postcard

Love the sky, the colors, the processing, however I don't like the tilted horizon..it's distracting as my brain tries to reconcile WHY? By tilting it also tilts the grad filter effect. I think straight up, this would have been a killer! The tilt bothers me, but I'm easily bothered! HA!

Hi Erwin

The tilted horizon doesn't look right in my opinion - just my personal view.

If you want to receive feedback on your photos, may I suggest -

a) a photographer's note to talk about your work

Your photo does not “speak for itself.” A photographer's note gives viewers an idea of what you wanted to achieve, how you tried to achieve it, and will allow them to offer more helpful critiques.

b) you also critique other people's photos.

Critiquing is a great exercise in both learning about photography, and making acquaintances with other photographers.

Hi Erwin,
I like the photo but that horizon makes me feel dizzy, I presume you did it deliberately
cheers
Jack

For those that are wondering this is a photo of Paritutu with the chimney from the power station to the left.

I can't understand why you would display the horizon like that, spoils an otherwise nice photo.
