New Plymouth Clock Tower

Steven (Superaudio) posted a photo of the Stratford Clock Tower earlier in the week and this is the New Plymouth Clock Tower. New Plymouth is about 40 kilometers from Stratford. The original New Plymouth clock tower was condemned because it was an eartquake risk and this new one was built in the early 70's to replace it. The original clock mechanism was retained and installed in this tower.

Have posted a workshop after strainening the tower slightly, think it works !!!

Hi Ralph,
Lovely clear photo, I like how you've included the NZ flag up the top there too. This photo has a very unusual slant to it, is this how the clock tower really looks or does the photo need straightening? Great backdrop either way.

Thanks for sharing,
Scott.
