Oh, this is lovely. Do like the pastels of this erly day and the over all depth of your compo, Jim. Die view from a snail.... just great, overwhelming nature.

Hi Jim,
This is really stunning. I love every bit of this photo. The bright blue color of the water fits perfectly with the pastel colors of the sky. The framing of the vulcano by the odly shaped rocks shows your well trained eye for composition. Details and clarity are superb.

Hello Jim,

The detailed, textured rocks in the f/g, sunken into the reflecting blue water, is a good shot in its own right but the pink morning sky with the snow-capped mountain in the distance, is just the icing on the cake.
The slow shutter speed has really worked well, here.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Jim,
Great poetry in this beautiful first light!
Fine image with delicate pastel colors!
I like much this diffuse light which softens the hardness of the rocks and lites up the top of the volcano.
This place must be the country of the elves, undoubtedly!
My compliments! Annie

wow! stunning. Perfectly smooth, clean, sharp. The soft colors are fantastic. Great shot Jim

Hi Jim,

Very impressive photo! Your POV is superb using these rocks as your FG and looking across the sea towards Mt Taranaki in the distance. Colours too are impressive - I like the soft tones. TFS.3

Hi Jim,
Excellent work, the soft tones in the sky are very pleasing and the PoV with Mt Taranaki in the distance is first class
well done
Jack

Another well composed shot Jim - great morning light. Must have been cold.

I would like to see a little more contrast as I think the light looks a little 'flat' in this especially on the rocks..

The simple frame works very nicely though - a good choice.

Cheers
David

Amazing shot. Talk about timing!! You really caught this at the perfect moment. Was this a HDR shot? Amazing textures on the water from the long exposure.
