[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another picture of my son Tyrone, this time more recent than my previous post! ;)

I love this soft shot., even if part of his head has been cut ... but somehow I still think its kind of against the photography rules.. isnt it? I would be interested to know what you think.

Shot in RAW.

Thanks for looking.

What a sweet photo of a lovely boy.

regards

Tracey

I can almost imagine what he is thinking. 'Mom? Why can’t I have a look at that fancy camera of yours? And what’s so interesting about my ear anyway? Is it going to take much longer?
You wait just a bit. I’ll waggle my head a little like this and ha! A blurry one!'

No serious, great picture of your lovely son. Even the blur is really nice! Thanks and greetings to you and your son.

The light in this is so soft and perfect for a child's portrait and nothing is overbright or overdark. Beautiful, soft detail, fantastic DOF and a wonderful expression. What more would you need? I'm not of the mind all portraits should look like a cosmetics ad... :)) It's marvelous work and he's a lovely little boy. Many thanks and kindest wishes,
Shelly

I don't think that having the top of his cut off is a problem at all, and the focus is nice and soft. I just wonder if it might have been better to have his face turned towards the light source to get more detail in the face. But it's very nice and you can be proud of such a gorgeous photo.
