Yesterdays Harvester

This old harvester hasn't seen any action for quite some time. It along with another less photogenic one are rusting away on a farm between Pukekawa and Rangiriri.
I wondered at first if it was a prop from a Mad Max movie. |

Hello Peter,
The rust on the harvester certainly adds effect to the red paint. With what appears to be low sunlight, the whole machine has a vivid colour, almost irridescent.
Your pov is great with the machine standing proud of the grass.
My tip for even better composition would be to have the back of the machine closer to the border and a little more space in front of it.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)
Great find Pete, don't think this will ever see action again, great colour with the orange and the rust starting to show through.
Great strong colours and light. I love the Max Max remark, I can see mohawk-haired punks riding on top of it, howling and grimacing ...

Hi Pete,
a nice shot of the old harvester, the colours are great, the sunlight really gives it a boost and I like the framing
cheers

I really like the vibrant colors. An interesting piece of machinery, I haven't seen any like this before. Superb detail. TFS
