[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A lick of paint, trim the Blackberry and mow the lawn...all that is needed to enjoy the county life.
There is room for the swimming pool, the tennis court, and a few football fields.
What more can you want.
In the workshop, a view of the interior 'decor'.
I wasn't intending to post this...but as the Auckland Trekkies are on the 'Historic Homestead' theme, I thought I would join in.

Hi Pete,
Nice shot, I like the lighting here - no signs of OE whatsoever. Well composed, the cinematic presentation works well too. The dry colours in the FG work nicely against the soft blue sky, a very rural looking scene. Well taken.

TFS,
Scott.

Is derable geriatric speak for desirable. Can't find it in the dictionary.

Love the rusty roof and the custon window shutters. The interior shot is classic. Great find Pete.

Kia ora Pete
Yes, all it needs is a clean up and paint - and you can rent it out to some good tenants.
We still see a few of these old farm cottages around the place - not so many as we used to though.
Nicely captured, sharp and clear, and the sunlight certainly brightens it up.
Cheers
Janice

Hello Pete,

My opinion of the housing market in N.Z has taken quite a slump after seeing two such properties, this morning! I think the terms 'natural' and 'wild flowers' could be misrepresented in the marketing!

However, there is no doubt about the precise, sharp details of the photography! Good light and fine composition.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Indeed a prime piece of real estate.

This is all in the presentation - the saturation of sky, the strong cinematic framing, the low POV. The composition is spot-on, even though the leading corner of the house is almost smack in the centre of the frame, the shot is balanced by the negative space/ lone bush on the left and weight of the structure on the right.

Hi Pete,
a good shot of the old shed, the PoV and lighting are VG. There has been a lot of old sheds and rusty cars recently - hope we are not spoiling our clean, green image
cheers
Jack

A really great title and note to go with this. MINT condition!! You really should be a salesman. I like the pov and very nice detail and colors. I always love seeing these old buildings. TFS
