This is one of my photos taken during a day trip to Castlepoint, on the east coast of the North Island. As usual the wind was gusting and churning up the sea creating impressively large waves.

It does look like a postcard which, I feel, is the effect you intended to create.
The focus is on the power, and beauty of the sea, and its relationship with the rocks. Very powerful.

Hi Martyn, certainly a rugged part of the coast, haven't been to Castle Point, must put it on the list. The B&W treatment is great, adds to the atmosphere.
