What an attractive composition Hans, with the curve of the hills and the flowers in the foreground.
Those tall lupins and the white flowers certainly make the photo
I don't think I have been in this area of the Sth Island.

If you had not mentioned that this was NZ I would have believed it to be Alaska, with those tall wild lupins,
at the end of august when the mountains start to change colors.
Very nice results with that patch of flowers.

It's almost as if the landscape is composed of many layers. We are told to avoid clutter but the clutter of the plants in the foreground makes this photo interesting.

I like the repetition & colour, added by the purple lupins, & the other white flowers that I don't recognize. The u shaped valley is well captured. Good contrast, colour, & sharpness. Tfs!

Ik ga weer de moeilijke uithangen vrees ik ...
Dus IMO : " bijna " Hans ... dichter komen !
Heel die partij bloemen wit en purper ontnemen het magistrale zicht want je legt er, volgens mij, extra de aandacht op.
Stel je voor dat je juist voor of tussen die purperen bloemen was gaan staan. Wat purperen bloempjes, zeker niet al te scherp maar herkenbaar, als inleiding naar je prachtig golvende bergen.
Breng ik mijn idee zowat duidelijk over ?

A fantastic place, Hans, I love the flowers and this view up to the mighty mountains and the blue sky. A little similar to the alps here in the south of Germany.
