[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After a lot of thought about this...and a number of bests i could have added. My Favorite was when I went to the Christchurch Botanical Gardens with Danni/waterlilygirl.
We were there a lot this year, capturing the different changes in the season. This photo was taken during the spring...there was a lot of ducklings about and we had fun feeding them.
During our photo shoot Logan had be dropped off at the adjoining park...Hagley Park to practice rugby with the Christchurch North zones team, only a few boys make these teams after the season has finished.

Thank you all for looking and your critiques.
regards
Tracey

Hi Tracey,
Great job, these little guys are so hard to focus on.
They never keep still, and their fluffy down can fool the autofocus...most of the time.
The odd number is also a plus...according to THE RULES.
Have a great 2009,
Pete.

hello Tracey
how are you?

Very cute. These little ducklings are such pretty bundles of fluff.
Well captured Tracey - if the Chch Botanical Gardens are like Akld's it is always a great place to visit. Lots of bird and plant life.

Hello Tracey, I like the dark water with the reddish coloured leaves, they complement the colours of the ducklings, so that their golden colored down really shows up.
A delightful subject.
Five is the perfect number for the composition, don't you think?
Tfs, regards Jean.

Cute!

I do lament when I see ducklings though, because I know how very few of them make it to adulthood.

Nice deep tones and rich colours in this shot.

Ahh Tracey!! Adorable duckies! Superb sharpness and I love the lower tones here. Sometimes I think pics are TOO bright and too obnoxiou. This is adorable! Really nice work!

Hi Tracey

Good repetition of the family of ducks, which are well placed in the frame & make a superb focal point. Excellent sharpness & high pov. Tfs!
