[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My cousin came over yesterday to ask if I could help him take some photos of his daughter Maddison.I used his DSLR camera...first use of a DSLR for me and taking baby pics...not my normal thing on both accounts!!

Feedback welcome...I set the camera to manual, so the focus was all my control...but really had no idea what I was doing apart from setting up the shot.

Well Tracey this is a great photo, terrific composition, love the contrast of the bright top against the Autumn leaves, you did well with a photo you are not familiar with.

Wow ... what a shot! You did a great job with the camera. The wide aperture has created a beautiful shallow field of focus and the child-in-the-leaves was a perfect opportunity to show it.
Nice composition, the off-centre placement works with his gaze towards the right of the frame.
You should be very proud of this!

Hi Tracey.. well you have captured a beauty here.. very lovely indeed.. and your first time with a DSLR..so well done...beautiful child, very nicely composed.. and I bet she enjoyed crawling amongst the leaves.
