Hello Pierre,

Your pp has turned this into an outstanding shot.
I just love how the interesting sky is reflected so well in the mirror-like water.

The horizon has a little tilt which can easily be corrected.

Are you living in Christchurch?

Nice capture - a hugely mixed palate of colours, with those logs creating interesting diversions in the water. I have the impression that the horizon is tilted in this shot?

Hi Pierre,
I see you've been having fun with HDR :). This one has come out well, those clouds are such a bonus to this scene. Personally I'd de-saturate and/or reduce the gamma of the golden banks on the right hand side, but that's just me being picky. Wonderful reflections off the still water, the tone mapping process has worked wonders for this shot. The pine trees in the distance seem well focused from f/8, good decision to keep the algae in the FG too.

Hi Pierre,
really strong vibrant colours and the composition is VG with the green algae in the FG and the logs creating interest and giving it a focal point - the HDR process works well with those clouds
