Now THIS looks like a great place to launch your boat.

I discovered this calm, sheltered picturesque cove near Diamond harbour on the Akaroa Peninsula. The fishing off the coast of Canterbury is superb, so I've been told, so I guess this is good reason for the popularity in boat ownership.
