[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken just outside of Geraldine last spring. When we passed this paddock there were sheep eating the plants. I really wanted to incorporate them in the photo, but unfortunately when I got closer to take their photo, they got spooked and run away to the middle of the field. I don't know the name of these flowers but it must be one of their diet during spring. Hope you like this B&W rendition.

Hi Renier

Well composed, with a good lighting contrast range, & superb tonal range. A little soft, but nicely composed, using the rule of thirds with the 3 layers. Tfs!

Hi Kiwi Explorer! Amazing flowers, amazing clouds, amazing mountains. Perfect POV. Good capture.
Cheers!

Hello Renier,
The backlit field of wild flowers actually looks good in B&W..!
So does the great sky but that is more logical after all...
A well framed, layered composition!
Greetings,
Pablo -

An excellent conversion Renier, I was surprised to see all BW in your gallery :). Good tones and textures and even the sgraininess in the sky adds to the mood. Can't help with the naming of the plant but if was yellow then it could be a canola (rapeseed) crop. TFS,
David
