[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The view from the end of the wharf on outskirts of Kaikoura bay is awesome. The Kaikoura mountain range already had some snow in April despite Winter having not yet arrived.

A fine and beautiful New Zealand landscape. Pure beauty!

A fine landscape ... I'm not entirely sure the rusting old crane in front of it does it justice, but certainly it adds a unique twist to the view!

A tricky one to get because while the crane is more or less upright, the shoreline/mountain range appears to be slightly skewed and needs a clockwise rotation of 1 or 2 degrees.

Nice DOF and excellent exposure and saturation overall though.

good background filled with high peaks, wonderful ambience. a unique addition of this old machine to your landscape, an exception if say it correctly :)
