[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken along SH1 in South Island somewhere between Kaikoura and Blenheim. We made a stop to eat at a cafe and was rewarded with this beautiful scenery.

The sun was still a bit up but hazy, so the contrast was really strong. Nevertheless, I liked the light and took this image.

To heighten contrast, I spot metered on the sky then dropped a half EV to bring up exposure on the trees, with aperture at constant f/8.

In PP, I also made adjustments using Highlight/Shadows adjustment tool.
