My darling cat brought me another Cricket...gotta love her :) Giving me subjects to photograph!
I had some roses in a vase, placed these on my kitchen table...place one cricket, took photos!!
LOVE the red with green...matches the eyes too LOL :)
Was night(this is when the cricket is active). This young cricket did not put up with having its photos taken for long and left...jumped off into my lounge.
I found it just before I was going to bed...and set it free outside.

Such vivid colours Tracey and great detail on the cricket with the rose just out of focus.

The crickets around my place are all black.

How nice of your cat to bring you not only one, but two crickets. Looks like she handled this one with care too :). Wonderful macro, the green on red is really effective. As is the background.
